Built for Tall Race Trailers & up to 30 Feet of Projection

Hospitality Canopies are primarily seen on semi-trailers, and use vertical uprights to support the rafters and create a large covered work or merchandising space. Bally curtains enclose the perimeter of the canopy for crowd control, and the canopy can be made to extend beyond the length of the trailer in both directions. Hospitality Canopies commonly project 20 feet from the side of the trailer, but can extend up to 30 feet.

Standard Features of Hospitality Canopies

Clear Anodized Aluminum Frame Components

Built for the repeated assembly and teardown of a full race season without degrading at the joints or showing corrosion.

Quick-Release Spinnaker Fittings on Rafters

Rafters attach and release without tools. Faster setup and breakdown, no hardware to lose at the track.

Heavy-Duty Storage Bags for Frame & Fabric

Dedicated bags for frame components and fabric panels keep everything organized and protected between events.

Bally Curtains for Crowd Control and Advertising

Partial-height curtains for crowd control, sponsor advertising, or defining a hospitality or fan engagement area.

Upper-Half Curtains for Privacy

Closes off the upper opening so sponsors and guests inside aren’t visible from the pit lane, without sealing up the whole side of the canopy.

Installation Zipper Flap

Fabric installs and removes without touching the frame hardware, saving time and reducing wear on both components.

Integrated Rain Drain System

Drains sewn directly into the top cover channel water off the canopy and away from the trailer roof, preventing pooling and sidewall intrusion.

Fire-Retardant Fabric

Meets CPAI-84 fire retardancy standards required at most sanctioned motorsports venues and outdoor event sites.

Water-Resistant Fabric

Sheds rain and moisture without saturating, keeping the workspace and equipment dry through a full race weekend.

Check your trailer’s deck height, not which style looks better. Tall Hospitality Canopies are built for semi-trailers and other high-deck rigs, using tall vertical uprights sized to clear a trailer that’s already close to legal highway height.

If your trailer has a lower deck, closer to what you’d see on an enclosed cargo trailer or gooseneck, a Low Trailer Canopy is the better fit since it uses a shorter frame profile built for that deck height.

Send us your trailer’s make, model, and deck height and we’ll confirm which frame fits before you order anything.

For a 20 ft canopy with the quick-release spinnaker fittings and installation zipper flap, expect roughly 30–45 minutes for setup and 20–30 minutes for teardown once your crew has run it a couple of times. A 30 ft canopy, or one with lighting and wired power added, takes longer on the first setup and speeds up as your crew gets used to the routine.

Standard lead time is 6–8 weeks in the off-season and 7–10 weeks during race season. Canopies without custom graphics fall on the quicker end of that range; adding digital printing, screen printing, or Tedlar application pushes it toward the longer end. Lead times stretch further heading into race season as order volume picks up, so ordering in the fall or winter is the safest way to guarantee delivery before your first race.

Yes, the fabric on every hospitality canopy meets CPAI-84 fire retardancy, which is what most sanctioned motorsports venues check for at paddock and pit inspection. If your series requires a certificate of compliance for track inspection, we send documentation with your order. Ask for it when you place the order so it’s on hand before you’re standing at the gate.

Anchoring is typically done with water barrels, stakes, K-rail, or concrete, depending on your event site. A structure projecting 20–30 ft off the side of a trailer puts real load on the frame in open track conditions, so anchoring isn’t optional equipment — it’s part of the base setup. We don’t provide formal wind ratings as standard, but if you need one for track requirements, we can produce engineered drawings for an additional scope. We’ll spec the anchoring method to your projection depth and typical event conditions when you order.

Yes. Send us your logo as a vector file (AI or high-res EPS works best) along with placement, and we’ll make recommendations for the best printing solution based on your fabric and budget. We build a proof before production starts. Turnaround varies by method: roughly 2–3 weeks for digital printing once the proof is approved, longer for other applications, since the processes aren’t interchangeable in production time.

We sell. Every canopy is built to your trailer’s exact dimensions, so it’s a season-over-season asset for your team rather than a single-event rental. The frame and fabric are built to handle repeated assembly and teardown across a full season without the joints or seams giving out.

The frame can often be extended or adjusted since the rafters use spinnaker fittings and sectioned uprights, so a change in projection depth doesn’t always mean a full rebuild. If your sponsor lineup changes mid-season, it’s just the fabric panel that gets reprinted or replaced; the frame doesn’t need adjustment. Contact us with your specific change before assuming it means starting over.
